The BRT EZTune Gas Tube (Carbine) reduces gas system flow and corrects excessive gas drive from barrels with large gas ports or for use with a dedicated suppressor.
Our EZTUNE Gas Tube performs the same gas reducing function as a traditional adjustable gas block (AGB) without issues of reliability, complexity and usability.
The EZTune Gas Tube replaces the standard CAR length gas tube and requires no modifications or removal of the gas block, making it ideal for barrels with pinned muzzle devices or gas blocks.
After installation, it requires no user adjustments or maintenance.
It is available in several port sizes to meet many small frame AR applications.
This items consists of 1 gas tube and pin.
Expected service life of ~10k rounds.
Installation requires removal and replacement of the gas tube.
Installation is extremely easy and should take less than 10 minutes, start to finish.
Sizing Notes:
CAR tube is approximately 9.75" long.
All components, including the buffer system, should be selected based on what will be used with the gas reducing EZTUNE.
Extra heavy springs and buffers REQUIRE more gas to cycle, which limits the amount of gas reduction possible. They should be replaced with more normal components if maximum gas reduction is desired.
Most customers should leave the EZTUNE Port Size drop down as "BRT Will Select Best Option".
This is the new desired port size, NOT the existing barrel port size.
EZTUNE Gas Tube sizes are one step larger than barrel ports for the same Gas Drive.
e.x. To get the equivalent of a .065 barrel port, the .067 EZTUNE gas tube should be selected.
