Q I’m thinking of an EZTUNE gas tube for 50/50 mixed use.  What buffer should I use?

The 50/50 mixed suppressed tune is our most popular option.

For best performance with a 50/50 mixed suppressed tune, we recommended using a mil-spec spring and lighter (CAR/H) buffer weights while unsuppressed.

This allows the EZTUNE gas tube to have a smaller gas port and still function without the suppressor.

When suppressed, the buffer weight can optionally be increased (CAR H2/H3) to slow the cycle down a bit, but this is not required.
